The Aquatic Animal Pathogen and Quarantine Information System (AAPQIS) is a collection of scientific literature, detailing global occurrence of pathogens and diseases of aquatic animals. The system includes mapping and regional cross-referencing tools to help in prevention and spread of pathogens and diseases. Since this information is derived from the scientific literature, as well as a team of established experts in different fields of aquatic animal health, it can be adapted for use by national governments for establishing national systems for disease reporting and tracking, as well as for reference information for aquatic animal health diagnosticians
and academia.

This site also contains a section specific to ASEAN - the Invasive Alien Species (IAS) site has been developed to assist ASEAN countries in understanding aquatic invasive alien species (aquatic IAS) so that the benefits from appropriate use of alien species in fisheries and aquaculture can be maximized and the risks that they pose can be managed.

The DIAS database includes records of aquatic species introduced or transferred from one country to another. The site can be searched fro records of introductions and movements and also contains example maps demonstrate the extent of introductions.

Users aware of other introductions of aquatic species not already included in the database or that have additional information on the records in the database are also able to submit information through an input form.

FishBase was developed at the WorldFish Center in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and many other partners, and with support from the European Commission (EC). Since 2001 FishBase is supported by a consortium of seven research institutions

ReefBase is the world's premier online information system on coral reefs, and provides information services to coral reef professionals involved in management, research, monitoring, conservation and education.

ReefBase gathers available knowledge about coral reefs into one information repository. It is intended to facilitate analyses and monitoring of coral reef health and the quality of life of reef-dependent people, and to support informed decisions about coral reef use and management. ReefBase is the official database of the Global Coral Reef Monitoring Network (GCRMN), as well as the International Coral Reef Action Network (ICRAN). The ReefBase Project is housed at the WorldFish Center in Penang, Malaysia, with funding through ICRAN from the United Nations Foundation (UNF).
